You can listen without an account. Favorites, recent stations, custom stream links and uploaded artwork are stored in this browser profile, not in a Probed Studios account. They do not sync across devices. Clearing this website’s data removes that local library; private browsing and browser storage limits can also remove it. Playback and timer state may be shared between this website’s tabs on the same browser so that they can coordinate playback.
The grp-locale and grp-theme first-party cookies remember language and appearance for up to one year. A local cookie-choice record remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics for up to 180 days, together with the choice date and policy version. These preferences and your local library work without analytics.
There is no analytics prompt on arrival. If you have not made a choice, we offer optional analytics after about ten minutes with the website visible during your current visit. Navigation within the app preserves this time; reloading starts it again. You can make a choice immediately in Settings → Cookie choices. Waiting, continuing to browse or ignoring the prompt does not give consent, and we do not send earlier browsing activity to Google Analytics when you later accept.
When analytics is enabled for this website, we ask before loading Google Analytics. Declining does not prevent listening. If you accept, Google Analytics uses first-party identifiers to measure consented visits, navigation, engagement and broad listening actions. It also receives technical connection information, including your IP address to derive approximate location; Google states that GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses. A browser or device is not necessarily a unique person.
We exclude search text, station names and identifiers, custom links, uploaded artwork, stream URLs and raw playback errors from analytics events. Page measurements use a route category instead of private identifiers, and remove query strings and fragments. Referral information is limited to the referring origin and recognized traffic-source categories. We do not use User-ID, Google signals or personalized advertising features.
Analytics cookies may persist for up to 13 months. Our launch configuration limits user-level and event-level retention in Google Analytics to two months, with retention reset on new activity disabled. Aggregate reports can be retained separately by Google Analytics. Data already received by Google is not erased merely by changing a browser preference.
You can decline or withdraw at any time in Settings → Cookie choices. Withdrawal stops subsequent analytics collection and removes accessible analytics cookies from this site. We also treat an active Global Privacy Control browser signal as a choice to keep analytics off. Google may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under its applicable data-processing terms. Read Google’s privacy policy and GA4’s data and privacy information.
Our hosting and security providers process requests and connection information needed to deliver and protect this website. Radio Browser supplies directory information. Country suggestions, station artwork, live streams and broadcaster websites can involve independent providers. Loading or playing that content sends those providers connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Their own privacy policies apply. We do not control advertisements or tracking that a broadcaster may include in its stream.
Vercel’s existing hosting statistics help us monitor request volume, errors and service reliability independently of optional Google Analytics. These operational counts include automated requests and page assets; they are not unique-visitor measurements. We do not add a separate visitor-tracking script before analytics consent.
Search text and selected filters are sent to Radio Browser to find stations. Committed searches and filters also appear in website URLs, which our hosting provider may process as part of serving and protecting the website.
A country suggestion is approximate and is used to suggest nearby stations. It does not change an explicitly selected website language. We do not request precise device location for this feature.
If you choose Chromecast, the website loads Google’s Cast software. Casting sends the station’s stream URL, name, country and artwork address, when available, to your selected receiver. This also applies to a custom station you choose to cast. The receiver and stream or artwork providers handle the resulting connections under their own policies. These playback connections are separate from optional Google Analytics.
Use this browser’s site-data controls to inspect or remove stored information, and use Settings to change analytics consent. You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of personal information, or to complain to your local data protection authority, depending on your location. Contact us to make a request. We may need information to understand and verify it; do not send passwords or private stream credentials.
We may update this policy when the website or its data practices change. Material changes to optional analytics purposes require a fresh choice before that collection resumes.
